Malaysia boleh, Perodua bole....

Yup, its interesting the last couple of weeks...the politicians are still talking and haggling about politics as the number of unemployment increases. Well think I shall not wanna to comment much on that as its a waste of my time and your time. I would like to talk something interesting about my new Myvi. Not that I want to boast of my addition.
Frankly its become a real neccessity and no more a luxury to own a car nowadays. Why? Just imagine that it take me more than an hour just to travel a short distance of a few kilometers. And mind you I'll have to switch between two or three modes of transportation just to rech my destination.
Okay coming back to my new car. It has just reach the thousand kilometers and I need to send it to the Perodua service centre to have the maiden routine service. And mind you it was the very firstime and my expectation was really high of our very own Malaysian car. The service centre was spot clean, the service counter, the beautiful girls behind the counter was friendly, but.......
as usual, I shall ask and find out what are the services they carry out.... You won't believe it....I shall continue....

Mathematics & Science

Hi, I am back again... Its interesting to read the last few days regarding the learning of Mathematics and Science in English or Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Melayu, whatever you want to call it. Today there was a huge crowd of gathering marching towards the Istana Negara to protest the use of English in the teaching of Mathematics and Science. Now coming back to the basics, I personally feel that its a very day in Malaysia today. Whatever things we are not happy, seems like taking to the street is option. What is going to happen to the future generations.... The whole problems seems to be getting out of hand. The Prime Minister has finally come out to admit it. That a decision must be made as soon as possible. My question is why is it taking so long for the honourable Minister of Education taking so long to come to a conclusion. All along from the very beginning, I have never agree that the teachings of Mathematics & Science should be changed (2003). Not that I am a fanatic of English or Bahasa Melayu. Education is a very complex matter. the whole system was turned upside down from the very beginning in 2003 when it changed over nite from the mother tongue & Bahasa Melayu, just for the sake of some greedy personal polticians. Simple mathematics will tell you, alot of money was made out of this. Changing of text books was just one of the items. and from this who makes the money. Think for yourself...... In any things that we want to change, it must start from scratch, it must start from the beginning and not half way through as of these two subjects.
Imagine all these years before 2003, all the products from the teachers college, unversities or whatever you want to call it were all in Bahasa Melayu. And you expect them to teach in a foreign language over nite.
After fifty years, we are still not decided as to what we want. Give us another fifty more years and we'll still be talking the same old song. and the very interesting part, as you can see what's happening today. All I know the very basic reason for delaying the announcement was more for self interest rather than for the future of our children.
In any democracy, there sure to be winners & losers. In this instance we cannot be looking and pleasing every one. Weighing the pros & cons, a decision has to be made and carry on. In any decision, its either YES or NO, there is no MAYBE or " besok lusa". Its either rite or wrong. Only people who have self interest, who wanting to please everybody will delay making a decision. the longer the delay, what good does it serve the nation.
Coming back to learning of Science & Mathematics in any language, there is no real threat to any mother tongue as can be seen in SRJK schools. Does learning Bahasa Melayu will make a chinese less CINA or for that matter, learning Science & Mathematics in english will make a malay less MELAYU. Compare the product of the seventies and nineties, its sad to see so many senior government management officers cannot even speak simple English, lest written. So TEPUK DADA TANYA SELERA............ Just that you cannot speak english, please do not depride others.
That's about all I want to share...

Tol again

Yup, I am back. Tol will go up on March 1, then the next day, the headlines screams "Tol will not go up indefinitely" Now the politicians especially some ministers seems to be treating all you voters like a bunch of Lu Lu's..... I want to remind them again that Malaysians are not stupid, blind, deaf or dumb. You wait another 4 years. A simple problem like this, you can't even get to agree, what then can you all do for the rakyat. The whole world economy is in the shit and there you can hear some sleeping politicians suddenly wakeup and shout that Malaysia economy is still okay, still okay.
Today I got to see a picture of a so call finance minister wiping his tears. In between sobs, he says, "Malaysians must accept reality of prolonged financial crisis". What a joke.....
You can bluff some idiot voters some time, but you can never bluff all the voters all the time. Come on my dear politician, if you can't calculate simple mathematics, then its even better that you don't open your big mouth. Time never lie.
A cheap commissioner says, “I can bet with you that it’s something that you will find on most men’s handphones,” meaning to says that if others can commit an offence, you too can also do the same. What a shame........... I am a shame, a highest ranking office bearer, who is suppose to a be a role model can speak like a child..........Any sane person will understand what I am trying to put across............
