Hudud laws

What Hudud laws?? I have been reading it in the papers day in and day out, month in month out out for the last years. Our politicians seems to have nothing else to do, nothing else to say and worst still, the whole bunch of newspapers editors has got nothing else to write. That is how our country is being managed in the state now... No wonder that I myself has been buying less, reading less newspapers and maybe in way to save cost, I guess.......hehehe...
It really sickens me that our politicians are a real cheap lots.... Elected representatives, be they MPs or State Reps, be they in government or oppositions, after the election, they should have put their political ideologies aside and move on, managing the country, the resources and economy, taking care for the man in the street, the very people who have voted them in. Recycle politicians should be let where they are, leave them alone. What have they done? Other than barking up and down the tree.... Fifty years have passed, nothing has changed and I believe that even in the next fifty years it will not happen.....

Kuala Lumpur My hope

I read the article in the MMail of our "new" Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur with high hopes, the heading goes "Ahmad Fuad's tough love" and the saying continues....... I really hope that he must WALKS what he TALKS. I have have been living in this beautiful Kula Lumpur for the last 35 years and and have been and seen how Kuala Lumpur was transformed from the slow sleepy 70's to the bustling of the 90's and now the deadliest jams of the millinium 2000's. As I have mention before, be it our civil servants, senior civil servants, politicians to the Ministers, we have the good planners, best builders but the worst implementers. Like wise we have the best infra's but sadly third world mentality. So I would really hope that the New Datuk Bandar walks his talks seriously. The very basic enforcement is lacking. A very simple and clear example, is the the parking problems around the Pudu market area. I hope the Datuk Bandar will go see for himself for me to go any further... So welcome Datuk on board and let's see what's next.........May I suggest we bring back the wheel clamping methods......

Wakeup calls

Hi, evening I am back again for the updates, just after a good workout on a late Friday evening. Ok, I just happen to read that DBKL hits out at litterbugs of partygoers on Christmas eve celebrations and the X'mas gone wrong, rowdy revellers in Georgetown. Well, I like the headlines as far as it goes. This goes to show what are our enforcements agencies are doing, knowing well that it happens all the time, all the place. Malaysia has got the best, you name it, be it the infra, the law, the schools, the food, the tallest building, the longest flag, etc, etc, etc. I am proud whenever I hear our politician trumpets it up and down the streets around the country, but sad to say. Only one thing I must admit that they are the best speakers and debaters. Yet very very frankly, I feel most ashamed when it comes to enforcements, no need for me to mention any further I guess. See with your own eyes and hear with your own ears. Coming back to the partygoers celebration, its as simple as that, in the first place, the authorities have been singing the same old songs year in and year out, always the same tune. May I suggest that all these trouble makers or nuisance revellers should be rounded up. No need to fine them, just make sure that they be responsible to clean up the mess they left behind the following day. That's just as simple as that. Make them serve the community because it was them who dirty the place in the first place. In this way, tax payers money are not wasted year in and year out. These monies can be better used to help the targeted poor and needy instead. Just as simple as that. The moral of the story is that we should start looking at our education system. But before we look at our education system, we should look a step further back into the intake and methods used to produce our teachers output. I do not blame the teachers as they are merely following the instructions. So for that, who should we blame, I guess the majority of us, not far sighted enough and putting the wrong MPs into Parliment. Wakeup call.............. for now

Kampung Politics

I have been following our local politics for a long long time. Only today that I wish to make some comments and suggestions etc........
Politics in Malaysia, be they from the BN or Pakatan, from my observations all these while are similar and synonyms. The sayings goes, "The Pot calling the Kettle black". Ok, coming back to the not too long distance future by election of Kuala Terengganu. Its just as simple as that, why spend the tax payers money going there, everyday and night to fish and beg for votes?????? Malaysian's are not silly or stupid any more. Malaysians today can differentiate between right and wrong. They know where and when to mark their votes, no need for the politicians to tell them what to do. For the majority and educated, we know what we want. We have voted and many months have passed, still, nothing talking about the economy or the promises made, but politics, politics and politics. Wakeup may I remind all the MPs, see what you all can do for the people, for the country who have voted you. Don't waste the public funds for yourself interest. See where you can help repair the pot holes, put more public transport on the choking roads, not begging the traders to lower the food prices, but make sure that the food prices are lowered to lightened the poor's suffering. Please walk the talk, time has been wasted and wasted unneccessary. Malaysians are not deaf, dumb and blind as the majority of politicians anymore.... Wakeup............

Holiday, Holidays

Yup.... it Christmas celebrations and it also signals the final week of year 2008. Well I am finally home sweet home after a two nites and three days working visit to Sabah, a small town, Kota Marudu, situaated towards the north eastern part of Sabah to be exact. Well, wish to greet all my Christian frens and associates a very Merry Christmas and hopefully a new beginning, year 2009. Happy holidays......

2008 Its the count down again...

Wow..... 2008....it's been another year gone bye....and again the count down begins....and yes...what about the promises and resolutions and so ons..... hahaha
As for me, there is no resolution or resolutions really, but the journey continues....
Well, during the early part of November, it has been a bit of a winding down of sort....That was a really good and a much needed break..... Finally I have managed to achieve what I have actually set out at the beginning of 2008....Yes, that was the final piece of jig saw, put in place to complete the Phase II Project of the MyRTKnetwork for the whole of Malaysia....Do feel free to access...at the Department of Survey and Mapping Malaysia website, http://www.jupem.gov.my/.
It was a really challenge because this Phase II Project was a three years implementation, starting from 2006 to 2008. Never the less I got to meet and learn lots of new things as the project progress. I wish to thanks all concern, be they involve directly or indirectly in anyway related to the project.. That was one of my best achievement thus far in life.

Works aside, I was also involve in some voluntarily work in the PTA of my daughther's school, SMK Aminuddin Baki. It was really satisfying to be part of the Exco team in helping the school management team to get the neccessary allocation to upgrade the basic amenities of the school. Speciall thanks to all the other Exco members who have put in so much effort, tiredlessly for the benefit of our children's future. During 2008, which was the the school's 50th anniversary, a number of events including the Larian Sabian which was hosted by PTA and we managed to collect an amount to something like Rm120K for the PTA activities of 2008. A big hand of applause to the PTA again, but without the efforts and combine energy of all the parents and generous kind donors, we wouldn't have achieve anything..... So on behalf of the PTA committee of SMK Aminuddin Baki, a very sincere and big thank you to each and everyone of YOU.
