Its been more than two weeks since my last post. Well, time really flies as I too was bog down with my official duties. One week to the north doing some schedule maintanence work and the next moment, it was off to Sabah to complete the schedule commissioning of the whole MyRTKnet systems for the two East Malaysian states.
We flew into Tawau and working our way by land through Semporna and overnight in Lahad Datu. The local sea food was fantastic. From Lahad Datu we move on to Sandakan. In order to keep our tight schedule, we flew back to Kota Kinabalu on the 16 October 2008. From here we continue our journey to the border town of Lawas in Sarawak and back. It was a compact schedule before we finally flew back to Kuala Lumpur on the 18 October 2008.
Back in Kuala Lumpur, the Raya mood continues. The next afternoon, attended an Open house of one of our strong man of Persatuan Ibu Bapa (PIB), SMK Aminuddin Baki (SAB), Tuan Haji Wan Zaidi Wan Jaafar.
This week I attended two important function of SAB. the first was the Hari Anugerah Hal Ehwal Murid Cemerlang and continue with another, the Rancangan Integrasi Murid untuk Perpaduan (RIMUP) celebration at the local area vicinity comprising of three schools, namely SMK Taman Maluri and SMK Datuk Lokman. And the climax event of the week was the witnessing of the signing ceremony of the Program Sekolah Angkat between SMK Aminuddin Baki and Teesside University of Middlesbrough, United Kingdom. The very special person was non other than the Most Honourable former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Mahathir Mohamad. It was the second most memorable events for the school. SAB too hosted for the very first time, the official visit by the Australian Prime Minister in August 2008, the honourable Mr Kevin Rudd and our own Minister of Education, YB Datuk Hishamuddin Tun Hussein Onn. Well that's it for now and hope to be back again for more...
